Due to its unique blending of research activities and solutions, Knowhedge™ has been recognized as a foremost Innovative Start-Up Company following the passing of an Italian law on December 17th, 2012, which fully exploited the support actions promoted by the European Commission Horizon 2020 Guidelines on Smart Innovation.

The law provided specific measures aimed at encouraging innovative digital entrepreneurship and promoting the creation and development of new companies, recognizing that start-ups are key for the promotion of sustainable growth, technological development and employment – and in particular for youth and equal gender employment.
